Apple takes a jab at Samsung with its new Earth Day ad that reads 'There are some ideas we want every company to copy'.
The full page ad was printed on the back page of UK newspapers, including The Guardian and free commuter paper Metro, says CNET.
It reads:
There are some ideas we want every company to copy There's one area where we actually encourage others to imitate us. Because when everyone makes the environment a priority, we all benefit. We'd be more than happy to see every data centre fueled by 100% renewable energy sources. And we eagerly await the day when every product is made without the harmful toxins we have removed from ours.
Of course we know we can continue to do better. We've set some pretty ambitious goals for reducing our impact on climate change, making our products with greener materials and conserving our planet's limited resources. So the next time we come across a great idea that can help leave the world better than we found it, we look forward to sharing it.

This has to be fake. I can clearly see newspaper print behind it, but not only that, none of this appears on the site? I littersly checked.

Any California based company touting its "green-ness" should be eyed with a small dose of skepticism. California mandates many of the things these companies do. Yes, some go above and beyond, however many are doing these things simply to be compliant with local law.

Really? California doesn't regulate any of their production in China. Apple does it because it's important to them and to the world and have always led in this area. Samsung would do well to copy here, they do everywhere else.

Make in Borea, ships to us to compete. Both phone have their areas. There's already a phone in their area nearby to compete, not where Americans are.
