Can anyone tell if this is of any real benefit in CANADA. Bec as far as I know Amazon Prime in Canada is very bare bones in regards to benefits to members as compared to USA.

What this article doesn't tell you is that, yes, you can email yourself the Prime membership, but if you're already a member and try to apply it to extend your membership, the site tells you that you can't, but you can get a gift card instead worth $72.

Naw. They said it wrong. You have to set your acct to NOT auto renew. Let it expire. THEN use the gift.

It should read "prevent your account from RENEWING"
