Regular Rate and Rhythm Software has announced the release of Med Mnemonics, a new database of medical memory aids, for the iPhone. Med Mnemonics allows healthcare students and professionals instant access to over 1400 learning and recall tools.

A mnemonic is a short rhyme, phrase, or other mental technique for making information easier to memorize. For the first time, iPhone and iPod Touch users have access to an instantly searchable database of mnemonics to aid them in their training in medical and nursing school and in practice in hospitals and clinics. Mnemonics can also be filtered by discipline and body system. Subjects covered range from Anatomy and Biochemistry to Pharmacology and Surgery, with many general topics and specialties in-between.

Regular Rate and Rhythm intends Med Mnemonics to be a collaborative tool. New mnemonics can be added by its users and shared easily via email. They can also be submitted for inclusion in future versions. A large database is included initially, and user submissions will be reviewed by an MD before they are accepted into future free upgrades.

Pricing and Availability:
Med Mnemonics is available for just $0.99 (USD) for a limited time, exclusively in the iPhone App Store.
