Apple has released iOS 9.0.1 bringing several bug fixes and improvements.
This update contains bug fixes including: ● Fixes an issue where some users could not complete setup assistant after upfating ● Fixes an issue where sometimes alarms and timers could fail to play ● Fixes an issue in Safari and Photos where pausing video could cause the paused frame to appear distorted ● Fixes an issue where some users with a custom APN setup via a profile would lose cellular data
I knew I wasn't suppose to be late for work this morning! I set an alarm 3:30am and it didn't go off. Made me 2 hours late for work! Hope this new patch fixes the bug! Eff you Apple! But I still love you lol.
I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8 (version 8.1). Usually, when I receive a notification while listening to music via headphones, the volume of the song drops slightly for the notification sound to alert me and then returns to normal. I've recently noticed that it often seems to get "stuck" in a low volume and either goes back to normal after waiting 3-10 minutes or when I receive another notification. Has anybody else had this problem? can anyone give suggestions on how to permanently fix this problem? Thanks!
Hi everyone, I have a ipad air with ios 9.0.0.
I wanted to update to ios 9.0.1 through my device (software update) I saw "update to ios 9.1 beta" instead of ios 9.0.1?!?!?!?
Who can help me and fix it??
My email : cv.sayyas@yahoo.com
The Update still does not fix the issues affecting switching on cellular or mobile data for applications which may have been in off position prior to the update. That is ridiculous as it means for instance cannot use cellular data on maps or mail or any other apple or 3rd party apps!
Does this fox battery life problems lol on an iPhone 6 and has horrible battery after updating to iOS 9 (even worse than iOS 8) also not to mention the update didn't free up any space
You're missing up with the Ampy that gives you battery life by moving it and stores energy. I haven't used a wall outlet since, plus it freed up space a little for me.
I agree with Lolwut...nothing stupid about it...maybe the management and R&D dept. is slacking by not debugging and properly testing versions before they are released, as seems to be the case with new versions of iOS and OS X for the past couple of years, but BOTH OS's are the best available today. Hands down. Period. No others even come close. Go ahead and switch to Android and see how that works out for you...lol
I wouldn't agree with you completely. When it comes to beta testing, it's to tell what may work until official release, so that's exactly why it keeps updating in case fixing some bugs open up any new bugs. Think of it like updating a released game. It may be little problem but it won't stop the success. I do always reset my devices to make sure it works completely after every update though which always works out for me.
What I'm saying is that Apple doesn't run as tight of a ship as they used to. For the past couple of iOS initial releases, it has been immediately followed up by an update. These type of things didn't happen in the Jobs era, nor did many other things that are, IMO, hurting the company and we the consumers. That said, Apple, iOS, and OS X are still the best choices by far when it comes to almost any product they manufacture.
