A photo allegedly of the upcoming iPhone 7 has been posted by bastillepost. The photo reveals what appears to be an iPhone 7 Plus with a dual lens camera. The lenses are enclosed in one pill shaped cutout rather than two separate cutouts.
As previously rumored, a dual lens camera would allow Apple to bring a 2-3x optical zoom function to the device. Apple is already testing dual-lens camera samples from Largan Technology and other companies. Apple uses image sensors from Sony and is expected to integrate technology from its LinX acquisition into the camera for the iPhone 7.
The image also has three dots above the Lightning port which suggest the smartphone will get Apple's new Smart Connector. The connector is currently available on the iPad Pro and takes advantage of the two-way conductive fabric in the Smart Keyboard. It allows the iPad Pro to provide power to the Smart Keyboard and lets the Smart Keyboard relay each of your keystrokes back to iPad Pro. It's unclear how Apple would plan to use this connector in the iPhone.
Notably, there are no antenna bands across the back of the leaked phone. This falls in line with earlier reports that Apple would simplify its antenna bands to just the top and bottom of the iPhone 7. A previously leaked chassis photo also showed no antenna bands across the back.
Finally, the iPhone 7 Plus pictured appears slightly shorter than the iPhone 6s Plus. It's difficult to tell from the photo if there is no headphone jack or stereo speakers. We'll let you know if any more photos surface. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
Photoshopped iPhone 6. Case closed. Look at the new leak that came out today. The antenna band is totally different. I don't think it's a 7 though. Has to be the new 4 inch. They gave it a newer refined body and antenna design to tell it apart from a 6. Instead of just making a smaller version of the 6. They're releasing it now because I think they're going to start releasing a new phone every 6 months. 4 inch in the spring for the people that want a smaller phone and flagship larger iPhones in the fall. Releasing a new 4 inch phone with the 7 would possibly take sales away from that model. For the people that want a smaller phone and have been waiting and didn't want to upgrade will now have a chance. It will attract newer customers too that might eventually upgrade to the larger flagship iPhone.
I've ran into the same thing dude. Some people I know don't even know half of the features it has. They're more worried about Facebook, snapchat and Instagram. Some may be isheeps but I blame it on plain stupidity.
There are also Samsheeps. They don't know the features of their phones either. All they know is that they have a new phone. There are lots of people with gadgets of any brand who don't know the functions of their gadgets.
iPhone can have wireless charging by case or by adding something to insert into lightning, it can have waterproof phone or at least be water resistant like the s7, and there exists better methods than what AS.Samsung does such as ampy that kicks 'wireless' charging to curb. It uses motion power, it can be done anywhere, and it's all done when traveling without a wall outlet.
Actually a dual edge actually would be cool, I'd make it thicker for more battery space like the S7 did, I would finally redesign the back (it has looked super similar the last 4 releases) I would redesign iOS 10 with features that were actually cool i.e. Move the icons where ever I want, and let's see oh yeah WIDGETS ON THE HOME SCREEN I would allow more third party apps that can tweak the phones capabilities maybe even custom launchers like nova launcher on android. That's just on my short list I am very disappointed with my 6S this year. There is no denying Android is the more productive OS it's just not nearly as polished as iOS or as secure. Nexus devices are the closest to perfect for Android but their hardware isn't always the best. Samsung this year really stepped up their game so hopefully Apple will do the same.
I was amazed with what the 6S did this year! Apple always steps up their game and this is just the beginning of that! I see no purpose as to what a pinch of the screen off to the side a bit makes a difference. Wow, something to the side and can only see as much as you would see on a toothpick.
The smart connector could be used for battery cases that won't use or block the lightening port! Very good idea!!! Charging cases will also be a lot shorter and won't add as much bulk as they do now.
Same old gimmicks, same old excuse, same claiming shit withiut even testing, trying, or waiting until it's released for you to see in person first! Way to assume and predict what you expect! Nothing believable here anyway!
