Apple Hires Former WSJ Editor Wei Gu as PR Director in China

Apple has hired former Wall Street Journal editor and Reuters reporter Wei Gu as a Public Relations Director in China.

Gu wrote the popular weekly column called "People's Money" for the WSJ about wealth and luxury in China. She also ran the original reporting team for WSJ China which won an award at the Society of Newspaper Publishers in Asia.

Gu regularly speaks at conferences and on TV about the Chinese economy, luxury, real estate and women’s issues. She started working for Apple this month in Shanghai City, China.

They should hire someone who worked for People's Daily or Xinhua New Agency instead.
