Apple is not expected to unveil a suite of new hardware at this years Worldwide Developers Conference, according to a Bloomberg report. While the company debuted new iMacs, iPads, and the HomePod at last year's keynote, this event will likely focus on improvements to the company's software.

The company is working on refreshes to the MacBook Pro and 12-inch MacBook with new Intel Corp. chips, and is planning a new low-cost laptop to succeed MacBook Air. But those won’t be ready until later this year, according to people familiar with the plans. Apple is also working on a redesigned iPad Pro line with Face ID, but that’s also expected later.

A new Apple Watch model with a larger display is also rumored for "later this year".

The company is working on a pair of new Apple Watches that keep the overall size of the current models, but include slightly larger, edge-to-edge screens, according to a person familiar with the product’s development. These changes will be the most notable external enhancements since the Watch launched about three years ago, but the new models will still support watch bands from earlier models, another person said.

Software updates focused on Digital Health, AR, and integration of macOS with iOS are probable; however, major new software features like a redesigned Home Screen, AI for Photos, and file management for iPad have purportedly been postponed as Apple works to improve the reliability of iOS and macOS.

Apple's WWDC 2018 keynote address will take place on June 4, 2018 at 10:00 am. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, or RSS for coverage of the event!

I’m or should I say I used to be an Apple fanatic and all my electronics have the Apple logo, yet for years now I don’t feel my money are spent wisely on their technology cause it all started breaking and malfunctioning like the crap the competition sells, while the competition’s crap actually became superior to Apple’s quality (the one Steve Jobs was giving us back in the day and not this current CEO) Such a disappointment, such misery...
