I’ve got a couple bigger versions of these, but while these are USB-C, they’re still standard HDs, not SSDs, so the throughput isn’t impressive at all. Still, for TimeMachine background backups, it works well enough, as long as you remember to halt them whenever you require substantial transfer speeds for work or play.
