Apple is introducing a whole new set of alert and system sounds with macOS 11 Big Sur. Two new videos posted to YouTube compare the old sounds with the new.

I prefer the old sounds to the new sounds. The trashcan will be missed when dropping into and when emptying the trash. Those new sounds are just weird and they seem to be trying to come across as futuristic. Oh well, goodbye to the old sounds
