How to Change the Default Mail App on Your iPhone [Video]

These are instructions how to change the default Mail app on your iPhone using iOS 14 or newer.

You may want to do this if you prefer using a mail application on your iPhone that isn't Apple Mail.




Step One
Download a third party mail app from the App Store. Examples include Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, and Spark. We'll use the Gmail app for this tutorial.


Step Two
Tap to launch Settings from your Springboard.



Step Three
Select your new mail app from the Settings menu.



Step Four
Tap Default Mail App.



Step Five
Select your new browser from the list of available browsers to make it default.
