Apple has released iOS 16.1 beta 5 and iPadOS 16.1 beta 6 (also referred to as iPadOS 16 beta 12) to developers for testing. The build number is 20B5072b.
This beta version of iOS 16.1 contains bug fixes and improvements.

Previous betas brought back Live Activities and iCloud Shared Photo Library and added Clean Energy Charging, battery percentage for more iPhones, easier home screen customization, the ability to delete the Wallet app, early support for Matter accessories (then removed), tweaks to the screenshot menu, and more.
Additionally, Apple has brought Stage Manager to iPads with an A12X or A12Z chip. However, external display support for M1 iPad Pros has been delayed until later this year.
