Apple's second-generation AirPods Max have plunged to a new all-time low ahead of Prime Day, with all five color options now available for $399. That's a massive $150 discount off the headphones' $549 retail price and $100 lower than the previous record low we covered.



Apple introduced AirPods Max 2 in April, bringing the H2 chip to its over-ear headphones for the first time. The headphones feature a knit-mesh canopy, memory foam ear cushions, and up to 20 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation enabled. A USB-C port replaces Lightning on the previous generation model and enables wired lossless audio playback when connected to a compatible source.
