Apple has seeded the fourth developer beta of macOS 27 Golden Gate to developers for testing.
The latest build, carrying version number 26A5388g, arrives alongside the fourth developer betas for iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS. It follows the third test build provided to developers a few weeks ago.
macOS 27 focuses heavily on expanding Apple Intelligence across the Mac while refining the visual experience. The update introduces a new transparency control slider to address readability complaints tied to the Liquid Glass aesthetic, along with more uniform toolbars and cleaner, edge-to-edge sidebars. Under the hood, Siri AI is now integrated directly into Spotlight through a new Search or Ask interface, giving the assistant onscreen awareness and personal context capabilities. The system also adds a dedicated Siri conversation app, AI-driven tab organization in Safari, and a rebuilt Image Playground capable of producing photorealistic graphics.
Registered developers can download the new beta by navigating to System Settings, clicking General, and selecting Software Update. The full restore image is also available through the Apple Developer Center for those performing clean installations.
