The Ultra 4 has a 49mm titanium case and a flat sapphire display that reaches 3000 nits. Apple rates battery life at up to 50 hours of normal use, 84 hours in Low Power Mode, or 45 hours of workout tracking in Max Extended mode, and 15 minutes of fast charging gives up to 18 hours of use. It measures heart rate variability as often as every five minutes, includes the Readiness app and a daily sleep score, and has dual-frequency GPS. Every Ultra 4 has cellular, plus satellite communications for Emergency SOS, Messages, and Find My, and it is water resistant to 100m and rated for recreational scuba diving to 40m.

To set up the Apple Watch Ultra 4, you'll need an iPhone 11 or later, or an iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), running iOS 27 or later.
