Independent software developer Andrew Molloy has announced the release and immediate availability of BabyGrow 1.7, an update to his baby growth tracking app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The update includes several improvements and adds support for backing up users' data with the popular cloud storage solution Dropbox.
With BabyGrow, parents can easily keep track of the growth of their little ones from birth to age 3. Designed for parents by parents, BabyGrow makes keeping growth records simple, and helps parents understand their child's growth with easy-to-read growth charts and percentile calculations. BabyGrow uses growth standards from both the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Now with BabyGrow 1.7, parents can have peace of mind that their child's growth information will be preserved using BabyGrow's new backup and restore feature. This feature uses the cloud storage service Dropbox to transfer backups between an iPhone or iPod touch and the users' home computer. Parents can also use this feature to transfer data from one iPhone to another - just in time for Apple's new iPhone 4.
Pricing and Availability: BabyGrow 1.7 is $2.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Medical category.
