Google Co-Founder Says Steve Jobs is Trying to Rewrite History

Well too damn bad. Apple pulled the trigger first. If Google was doing this way before Apple then they failed miserably by not releasing it sooner!

Of course that the looser has to whine, even if the android was in development 10 years ago it doesn't make it the best, instead of crying make a better product, i don't see the stupid google phones (G1, and I don't even know what other ones) selling the amount of phone apple sells, and definitely Iphone is by far the best phone. Android sucks, stop crying!!!!

yes android was first, and yes google purchased it 2 years prior to iphone being announced. But iphone development had been in the works also during that time, and android development did NOT involve a touchscreen interface. It looked like the old Tmobile Dash or a blackberry. Wrong....what you describe is the hardware, which is not the OS android. From the beginning it was designed to run on multiple types of hardware. Touch screen included. Yes it looked nothing like the iPhone, a finished product, because it was a prototype. Just saying. Oh yeah! You just have to read the comments in the thread linked above. It reads very funny in hind site.

I thought about it two years before the two years that Google thought of it... just never did anything about it. In fact, I'm thinking of something really cool right not... doubt I'll do anything about it though. Oh well, so what! Sheesh!

Initial comparisons between the iPhone OS v1 and Android v1 were unanimous: Android sucks. Sorry Larry but I think you should have worked on it a little bit longer.

Hey Google.....put a rubber band around your head and snap out..........of you snooze you lose.....simple as that. Don't get pissed because someone else beat you to the punch. Just be content your Google....you practically own everything else and will likely be first with many other things so stop your whining that your OS wasn't first.....Geeez!!!!

Simple. Apple and Google should join and make one single phone. There are enough money for both.

I think there are laws against the joining of two juggernaut companies in the same space like that. BTW - I was working on a simple search engine that brought quick search results and organized them by relevance. It was called Snoogle... But I swear I was working on it.
