DIY iPhone 4 Steadicam for $30 [Video]

Photographer Spencer Watson shows you how to create a budget iPhone 4 steadicam for about $30 in the YouTube video below.

I've been working on a fun little project that I though I'd share. After getting the new iPhone, and really digging the quality of the video, I tried to do some filming, only to get motion sick looking at the footage. There's no image stabilization that I can tell on the phone, and hand holding a tiny lightweight camera obviously causes a lot of shaking. So after doing some research around the net I decided to build this:

It's a three axis gimble with a weight at the bottom. It's made with PVC pipe, a skateboard bearing, an aluminum bar, nuts, bolds, washers, and an optional Nerf handle.

I am slow.......I do not see 3 axes camera. . it is just a holder with flexibility. This device has to get modified

An McGyver's steadycam is even better than both of em put together, he made his in the middle of a forest out of an empty coke bottle , elastic band and sum chewing gum lol
