Latest Update for PlingPlong Released

Wil Richardson, the developer of PlingPlong, has just released the latest update for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. PlingPlong 2.2 is a maddeningly addictive game that's reminiscent of bumper pool. Users have a limited number of tries to fling the Plong (like a ball) at the stationary Plings (like a bumper) to light them up. The game is over when they light up all of the Plings, or run out Flings, but there's a catch. If they Plong a Pling twice, it deactivates; and they must use another Fling to re-light it.

Many unsuspecting users have already fallen prey to the addictive nature of this game. To add to the madness, users can save their high scores and check their global ranking on the worldwide leader board. Many users can't stop themselves from going back and trying to beat their old scores to improve their ranking. With 25 levels of play, each more difficult than the last, it could take a long time to finish a game. Fortunately, when the user leaves the app, PlingPlong 2.2 remembers where they left off and takes them back to that level when they return.
