why buy this when you can get a free black bumper or an actual case from Apple?

Unfortunately, the original bumpers only can be used with the small Apple Dock-Connector cable because the slot in the bottom of the bumper is very tight... Just As an example ;)

good example.... i cant use my apple video out cable with my bumper on. Its very annoying to have to take the bumper off each time i get in my car and want to listen to my music or watch a vid. Too bad the power and volume buttons aren't metallic like the bumpers
