taskList 1.01 fills the void between too-basic, fixed to-do list apps, and pricy, complicated task managers. Offering a simple, open-ended system of Tasks, Memos, Groups and Tags - taskList can initiate first-time users new to task management, as well as satisfy more experienced users looking for an efficient and adept to-do list.
What makes taskList different in the ever saturated to-do list market?: * Truly easy-to-use, yet doesn't sacrifice capability * Doesn't force users into managing their to-do's with an overly-specific system * Clean, Apple-inspired interface; professional UX designer * Getting Things Done (GTD) capable, but does not force its use * Live tag search * Easy grouping of tasks in a collapsable list * Very affordable ($1.99 in the US store)
taskList starts out as a basic list. Tasks can be added, then dragged to re-arrange their order. Each task can have a one-touch-dial phone number, notes, contact or due-date. Swipe a task, and a "complete" button is revealed. When completed, it moves to a running list of all completed tasks by day. When the task list gets longer, items can be grouped for easier management. Groups can be shown open or closed on the main list, and also selected to provide singular focus.
There can be an easy access system of user-created "live" tags at the top of a list - when tapped, tasks without those tags are instantly filtered out. All elements are customizable - no fixed group or tag names, except for a special calendar tag that shows all dated tasks in the order they are due. Using these capabilities, a user can choose to maintain a simple ordered list with priorities, up to using a full fledged GTD system with an inbox, projects, contexts, or more.
