First Dual Front Back Camera iPhone App Released

Mirage Labs has announced the release of Flexicorder 1.0 for the iPhone. A video recording app, it is the first iPhone app that allows both front and back cameras (for iPhone 4) to be used during a single recording session leading to some interesting possibilities. Initial user testing revealed ways in which this feature was used. Some of the more popular uses were shooting self videos and outdoor shooting.

It also allows many output resolutions and bit rates for video to be saved. With the massive increase in video recording using iPhones, it has been often observed that people run out storage space. Not all videos are equally important to be saved in high-def, so having this option is nice. With little tweaking in recording settings, the space saving can be enormous without any visible loss in video quality.

Before Flexicorder, Mirage Labs also produced top selling video apps such as Videopix (iPhone's first video frame grabber) and Video Zoom (iPhone's first video zoom). These applications have consistently ranked in the 98th percentile or above according to sales volume in their categories. During beta testing the application received high marks from users for utility and ease of use.

Supported Languages:
* US English and Japanese

Pricing and Availability:
Flexicorder 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Photography category.

You should mmention that it requires iOS 4.1. Couldn't get it on my jailbroken iPhone 4. :(
