Foxconn has persuaded Apple not to share iPad 3 orders with Pegatron Technology, according to DigiTimes.
Pegatron Technology is expected to land orders for at least 10 million units of iPhone 5 (or iPhone 4S) but is unlikely to share iPad orders with Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) in 2011 as speculated, according to industry sources.
Apple was rumored to be adding Pegatron to alleviate some of the risk involved in having only one manufacturer.
Pegatron is now hoping to land orders for Apple devices launching in 2012.
Weren't they at one time moaning about how producing these iPads wasn't all that beneficial and profit wasn't great cuz of the highly complex/technical nature??
