The iPhone 4S will be available to pre-order tonight at 12:01AM PST, according to Apple customer service representatives.
The device will first launch to the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK.
The second group of countries will get the iPhone 4S by the end of October. The countries in that group are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Apple\'s website says the unlocked phones will be available in November and won\'t work on CDMA networks (Verizon/Sprint).
