Analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company has issued a note to investors claiming that much of the design for the iPhone 6 has been finalized, reports AppleInsider. Arcuri says that Apple has selected a 4.8-inch display size for the new smartphone.

That prediction aligns with a previous one from Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities who said that the new iPhone won't exceed 5-inches in size due to Apple's "unwavering principle of one hand use."

Arcuri also predicts that the iPhone will finally get 802.11ac, a faster Wi-Fi standard that has made its way to most Macs.

In addition to hardware changes, Arcuri says that Apple is planning "key software innovations" which will likely leverage iBeacon, Touch ID and Passbook in a push towards new services with mobile payments. He views the iPhone 5s as basically a 'set-up' for this year's new products. Its 64-bit processor and Touch ID fingerprint sensor will allow Apple to introduce new services that one up the competition.

Arcuri believes Apple will release the iPhone 6 in September; however, sources have told him that a June launch is "not out of the question."

Finally, the analyst also confirms reports of a larger 13-inch iPad that will "blur the lines between tablets and PCs."

What do you think about a 4.8-inch display? Is that the perfect size for Apple's new flagship device?
