iPhone MMS Working on OS 3.0 Beta 5

iPhone MMS Working on OS 3.0 Beta 5

Posted May 7, 2009 at 11:27am by iClarified
iPhone MMS has already been enabled on the newly released iPhone OS 3.0 Beta 5 firmware by members of MacMagazine.com.br.

Luckily enough a few hours of work for the Breno Masi, the team MacMagazine, to make the MMS on the new beta. :-)

The fantastic is the Network setup screen now allows a complete configuration of MMS, as you can see the third screenshot above.

The act requires the publication of a new .ipcc with a key that activates the MMS. Sending for the iPhone should be done with the first beta of iTunes 8.2, as the current no longer allows it.

Thanks to Rafael Fischmann for the heads up...

Same here. On AT&T, just installed v5 and have now lost all evidence of MMS. No screens that look like his and no more camera icon in the messages. Anyone know what gives?

Are you sure this information is accurate? Because with beta 4, I had configurable MMS messaging options in Settings>Messagin. Now with beta 5, those options are gone. I did have the new carrier settings, though.

I still have the camera in the messages app... Oh well. I still think that MMS has to be enabled by the carrier. The people who have MMS working probably called their carrier to get MMS enabled, since it uses MediaNet instead of your actual iPhone internet connection.
