DigiTimes claims that Apple has shelved its project to produce a larger sized iPad in a new report.
In addition to Apple's rumored 12.85-inch tablet, Samsung Electronics has already launched a 12.2-inch Android-based enterprise tablet, while Asustek Computer is planning to release a 13.3-inch dual-OS tablet. However, most of the large-size tablet projects face difficulties because of lack of support from related platform developers and ecosystems. Apple has also been said to shelved its large-size tablet project.
Notably, the often accurate KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently said that Apple will release a new iPad Air this year but will hold off on updating the iPad mini or releasing a larger 12.9-inch iPad until 2015.

I for one, I'm glad. I don't see much use for a bigger iPad. I've had the mini, and all generations of iPad's. I think the iPad air is by far the nicest most well-rounded iPad or tablet for that matter. I think Apple has proved over Samsung and others, bigger is not always better.

After all that change the new Mac Pro got, you think now is the time to lack innovation? If there was nothing wrong with iPad mini, what's wrong with a bigger one?

I think that picture with iBoard was telling us something and it may be true about that.
