iPad Hacked to Triple Boot iOS 5.1, iOS 6.1.3, iOS 7.0.6 [Video]

Posted March 25, 2014 at 11:18pm by iClarified
Winocm has managed to hack his iPad 2 to triple boot iOS 5.1, iOS 6.1.3, and iOS 7.0.6.

The hacker posted a video to YouTube demonstrating the feat which we've embedded below.

Winocm also recently demonstrated an untethered jailbreak of iOS 7.1 running on the iPhone 4. More details on that can be found here.

Later this year, winocm will be going to work for Apple. It's unclear if he will be releasing any of his of exploits before then; however, you can follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

Take a look at the video below!

It's gotta be the camera. That's a MacBook Pro. Definitely not beige.

This guy used a method copying a 12 year old kid. Remember that tweak called accelerate? Almost same concept but yea impressive

I really hope Winocm doesn't release a jailbreak for IOS 7.1. The exploit would be fixed in IOS 8. Remember he did release IOS 6.1.3 jailbreak, which blew an exploit for IOS 7.

it's easy on an A5 chip I want to see him doing the same on later models which is impossible and you can forget jailbraking iOS 7.1 they are not going to waist a good jailbeak till the new devices come out like iPhone 6 and iOS 7.2
Ari - March 26, 2014 at 1:48am
Yes, 7.1 is a real resistant iOS anyone's ever seen.

I am sure when these guys hired by apple we getting closer to the end of jailbreak.
Ari - March 26, 2014 at 1:37am
Too close. Apple is probably hiding something from fellow jailbreakers... Hmm...

True. But a lot of these guys that go to work for apple sometimes only work as an intern for a year then go on to something else. Like many have before. Unless apple wants to keep them longer or they want to continue to work there. You're right though apple my be hiring them to keep the jailbreaking talent in house. Or to just pick their brains for ideas and new whatever. Cause if they develop something while at apple they have no right to ownership. It's all apples in the end.

But working at apple doesn't mean they can't still develop on the side. They could always try and release jail breaks or tweaks under a new identity. They'd have to be careful though.

I think that there should be a jailbreak for iOS 7.1 for iPod touches.
