Alleged Killer Asked Siri Where to Hide Body

A Florida man accused of killing his roommate reportedly asked Siri for advice on where to hide his body after strangling him to death.

According to police, Pedro Bravo kidnapped and strangled his friend Christian Aguilar after an argument over a girl. Aguilar started dating Bravo's ex-girlfriend, and Bravo didn't take too kindly to the news. Bravo was charged with murder on Friday September 28, 2012, but investigators did not find the body until weeks later.

Evidence from Bravo's iPhone indicated he used the phone's flashlight function nine times from 11:31pm to 12:01am. He also asked Siri “I need to hide my roommate." Siri then responded with “What kind of place are you looking for?” and offered options including “Swamps, reservoirs, metal foundries, and dumps.”


Location data from the phone did not corroborate Bravo's story, and police believe he used the flashlight function to find a place to hide the body in the woods. Bravo's defense team argued there was no evidence that Bravo made the inquiries himself.

Update: Looks like this story isn't necessarily true. As it turns out, Pedro Bravo owns an iPhone 4, which does not support Siri.
