iPod Cover is a smart accessory concept designed by Claudio Gomboli for your iPhone 6 that essentially turns the front of your iPhone into an iPod Classic.
More importantly, the iPod Cover brings back the click-wheel with controls feedback and an updated UI since the screen space has now been reduced. In Gomboli's vision, the new UI would feature notifications, widgets, and more -- all without opening the cover of the device. When the case closes, the phone would switch UIs to match the smaller display (similar to Apple's Smart Cases that simply turn off the display).
The iPod Cover for iPhone 6 would come in multiple colors, feature premium leather, and a low 3mm profile.
While the iPod Cover is only a concept, it is definitely a unique and interesting take on bringing the click-wheel back to the iPhone. Would you ever purchase this smart cover if it became a reality?

I would most certainly get it if they made it for the iPhone 6+! That's a pretty cool idea!

Why would I need the wheel if the portion of display still visible is touch sensitive? IPods needed the wheel when they didn't have touch displays yet....

It is called an s view case. Except using the touch screen would be far too similar.

Oh, and you will need a case to protect your case.
Big got bigger...

Think about buying an iPhone 6 and iPod classic. That's spending more compared to this but if you were to buy this case, not only will it be spending less to have two devices like they're together but it will save less for people and would make a stand.

I don't have an iPhone 6 yet, but when I transition, this would definitely be something I'd put money towards. Nothing like a classic!!!

My point is this concept is not original.

Who cares if it's not original, it still has more potential than just a stand.

now that's what I call a two in one device compared to the surface due to how built iPod and iPhone are together like this. You know what they say, it is what it is as long as it's built like one. I see your point but I totally don't find this a gimmick.

I think it's pretty awesome. The way the UI switches when the case is on. :)
