Drum Kit 3.0 Goes Electronic
Posted August 16, 2009 at 2:25am by iClarified
The Drum Kit app now offers users the enjoyment of playing on electronic drums, in addition to the traditional acoustic set - this is an upgrade to the premier drum app for iPhone and iPod Touch from CrimsonJet. The electronic theme, the first of many themes that will be released with Drum Kit 3.0, is reminiscent of drum machines from the 80's and 90's. Users have the option of playing with a variety of sounds, including, rock, hip-hop, techno and jazz on both the acoustic and electronic sets.
Skilled drummers and amateurs alike can become rock stars with Drum Kit, whether playing the drums along with music from the iPod or rolling out a solo. Drummers will also appreciate the ability to record and save all of their masterpieces. Additional features of Drum Kit include a built-in metronome with count-in before recording, ability to play rolls by sliding fingers across the set and a left-handed mode for all of the lefties out there.
CrimsonJet is offering themes in a unique form by allowing users the option to "unlock" them by posting a tweet on Twitter, a status update on Facebook, or the option to purchase $0.99. When first introduced, Drum Kit was the number two music app of 2008, just behind Ocarina, and has been in the Music Top 10 for over a year.
Pricing and Availability:
Drum Kit 3.0 for iPhone is only $1.99 (USD) and available exclusively through Apple's iTunes App Store.
