Yes the iPhone 7 plus is better at multitasking between apps because iOS is written better and android has to do more stuff with the ram causing it to close out apps to keep it going, but if you put a rendering app on the two phones and set it to render a full 2 hour animated 3D movie, the pixel will beat the iPhone in that regard
