Leaker Sonny Dickson has shared new images of what are purported to be iPhone 17 dummy units, offering a potential preview of the color options for Apple's entire 2025 lineup. The mockups showcase a range of new finishes for the standard, Air, and Pro models, including a new orange color for the high-end devices.
The images show the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max in four colors: Black, White, Dark Blue, and a new Orange finish. This lines up with previous reports that have pointed to a possible copper or orange shade for the Pro lineup. An earlier leaked document also alleged that Dark Blue and Orange were among the new colors being considered for the Pro models, which are expected to feature a wide, horizontal camera bar.
For the standard and Air models, the dummy units also corroborate previous rumors. The iPhone 17 is shown in Black, Silver, Blue, Green, and Purple, while the iPhone 17 Air appears in Black, Silver, Light Gold, and Light Blue. A leak from earlier this year alleged these exact color palettes for the non-Pro models.
The dummies are consistent with the designs seen in other recent leaks, including a vertical dual-camera layout for the standard iPhone 17, a horizontal "runway strip" camera for the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, and the full-width camera bar for the Pro models. That same camera bar design was also seen in photos of what was purported to be an iPhone 17 Pro prototype being tested in public. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup in the fall of 2025.
