You Should Give the New Final Cut Pro X a Try [Video]

If you're still uncertain about trying out Final Cut Pro X, check out this video from This Guy Edits that highlights some of its best features.

FCPX editing software lets you manage less and focus more on emotion and story. The magnetic timeline allows for trackless editing and the new update 10.3 introduces audio lanes for split audio tracks (to output to your audio mixer). Cognitive selecting through events and keyword assignment as well as visual scrubbing are great ways to emotionally engage with your footage and stay in editing flow.

Take a look at the video below...

Ohhhh now apple realized that there is Pro market. They were so busy selling iPhones. Adobe has done fantastic job in Premiere. ur selling complicated fcp online and no cut for distributors, who's job is to teach and support editors.? Just saying whats the actual scenario.

Well. It's not like FCP is new software. Other than the arguing about FCPX back when the UI changed, it has received continuous updates and it's all been great. I mean, you clearly have a narrative there going but I think you can tweak it. Some "pro" things Apple hasn't touched. Others it hasn't stopped updating. You should complain about the ones that have left, I think, rather than the ones being updated regularly. Not only that, but also make sure only to complain on the ones where Apple actually had a superior solution, rather than having a foot halfway in a market but little else.

I'd love to try it but I don't have an extra $300 xD

Neither do I, yet I still have FCPX...... Just saying, sometimes the easy way doesn't involve spending any money.... Also there's a 30 day trial

The Magnetic Timeline IS what makes it unusable, for christ's sake! It's impossible to time anything to music! Premiere Pro just does what you want, while FCPX will fight you at every turn!
