DP Stuff has released 80s Scramble, an addictive word game for the iPhone and iPod touch. From the makers of the highly rated Scripture Scramble, this game improves on the same basic concept of unscrambling letters to reveal a word or group of words.
First, the player picks a year from the 80s. A song title then appears with all letters missing except for the first letter of each word. The missing letters are scrambled at the bottom of the screen. The player taps or flicks the letters to fill in the missing letters of the song titles. Once the title is complete, the user can click a link to preview or purchase the song on iTunes. The player's progress through the songs for each year is tracked separately. The game includes sound effects and music that can be muted individually.
Features of 80s Scramble include: * Hundreds of song titles for hours of fun * Song titles can be selected by year * Links to iTunes to preview and buy the song * Progress tracked by year * Uses the cocos2d graphics engine for effects
Pricing and Availability: 80's Scramble 1.0 is only $0.99 (USD) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
