Agile Web Solutions' password and identity manager for the Mac, iPhone, and iPod touch, with over one million users worldwide, is now available for iPad. Owners are now able to securely use and manage their 1Password information on-the-go in a gorgeous app designed exclusively for iPad.
"iPad is revolutionary," said Dave Teare, co-founder of Agile Web Solutions. "I think it challenges the traditional definition of 'personal computer' and could become bigger than the PC in just a few years."
Like its versions for Mac, iPhone, and iPod touch, 1Password for iPad securely stores personal information like website logins, text notes, bank accounts, credit cards, software licenses, club memberships, identity information, and more. With a single tap, users can log into sites from 1Password's built-in browser, or use Quick Copy & Paste to copy information to other apps. 1Password's Strong Password Generator can also be used to create long, unguessable passwords for websites, email accounts, and other services. All information is secured with the user's password, and can be synchronized with 1Password for Mac via local Wi-Fi.
"We want to bring the best 1Password experience to iPad," said Roustem Karimov, co-founder of Agile Web Solutions. "That is why we designed an entirely new interface that engages the user, taking advantage of iPad's gorgeous and spacious display."
1Password for iPad features an all-new design that is optimized to let both left- and right-handed users browse their personal data and automatically log into websites. The 1Password experience on iPad is truly unlike any other.
Pricing and Availability
1Password for iPad is available immediately for $6.99 (USD). Also available is 1Password Pro 3.0, which contains both iPad and iPhone versions for $14.99, and is a free upgrade for current owners. 1Password standard, which does not contain the iPad version, sells for $6.99.
