Basically, what garmin claims, is the same as casio would say that their watch is working on one battery 3 years 😂

So the Garmin has fall detection, make calls, track afib, let you make payments, blood ox and on and on…..? I guess Garmin is better

So basically if you use the watch like a smartwatch then it’s lasts 4.5 full days according to Garmin I mean it’s way better than the ultra but the months claim is basically only valid when you strip back the majority of its features, I’m sure it’s appealing to athletes but not everyone wants that they’d rather have an actual smartwatch with its text/ call features and thus I’m sure most people would go for the ultra (those in the Apple ecosystem).

Like you said, ultra is athlete focused but athletes will choose garmin not ultra. Regular user in apple ecosystem will choose apple watch 8, 9, se but not ultra.
