Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is set to 'break the record' for bezel thinness on a smartphone, according to a new report from leaker Ice Universe.

In a tweet today, the leaker said the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature bezels that are just 1.55mm.

iPhone 15 Pro Max will break the record of 1.81mm bezel black edge held by Xiaomi 13, and we measure that its cover plate black bezel width is only 1.55 mm.(S22 and S23 ≈1.95mm,iPhone 14 Pro 2.17mm)

Note that tweet says the Xiaomi 13 bezels are 1.81mm which refers to thickest portion of its bezels. The thinnest bezel section on the Xiaomi 13 is 1.61mm; however, if the measurements are correct, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will best that as well.

Earlier this month, video leaked purporting to show the front glass for both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. Notice the difference in bezels.

Although, Apple isn't expected to launch its new iPhone series until this fall, we've been seeing a lot of early leaks this year. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro are both expected to get Dynamic Island and Ceramic Shield but rumors suggest the iPhone 15 Pro will have thinner bezels, solid state buttons, and 8GB of RAM.

The iPhone 15 Pro will likely utilize an A17 Bionic chip made with TSMC's 3nm process, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will stick with the A16 Bionic and 6GB of RAM. All four models will purportedly have a USB-C port and Qualcomm's 5G Snapdragon X70 modem.

Finally, it's predicted the iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a periscope telephoto lens for better optical zoom while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus could get a 48MP rear camera lens.
