Lilliput Labs has announced the release of WebPresenter 1.2, an update to their website demonstration app introducing iPad support. WebPresenter is the only website demonstration app on the app store, allowing users to stream their rendered websites to another computer. Using the open VNC protocol, WebPresenter lets you wirelessly connect your iPhone or iPad to a computer on the same wireless network. The website, rendered on your device's browser, is then streamed over the network to the computer.
WebPresenter is the ideal tool for demoing websites to clients, or any large audience. Since the website is running on the actual device you'll be able to demo device specific features such as a multi-touch interface, or geo-location. WebPresenter 1.2 adds support for the iPad, as well as support for landscape mode in the iPhone version.
Full feature list * Embedded VNC server * Streams over Wifi * WebKit based browser * Bonjour support * Support for orientation changes * Allows for bookmarking of URLs
We recommend using WebPresenter with the following VNC clients: * TightVNC (Windows) * UltraVNC (Windows) * RealVNC (Windows) * JollysFastVNC (Os X) * Vinagre (Linux)
Pricing and Availability: WebPresenter 1.2 is available for free through the App Store in the Business category. This free version watermarks the VNC images and contains advertising. To remove the watermark and the advertising you can upgrade to the Pro version via in-app purchase.
