Leaked iOS Code Reveals 'Health+' Subscription, AI-Powered Siri, AirTag 2 Features

The same prototype device that recently exposed Apple's hardware roadmap has also uncovered a large set of unreleased software features. According to MacRumors, the findings point to an AI-powered Health+ service, a major Siri overhaul, and new capabilities for AirTags and AirPods. The information comes from an internal build of iOS 26, labeled internally as iOS 19, that was discovered on a prototype device sold to a private collector.

The leaked software includes numerous internal "feature flags," which are toggles Apple engineers use to enable or test features under development. These flags offer insight into what Apple has been working on for future iOS 26 updates, iOS 27, and later releases.

One of the more notable discoveries is a reference to "Health+," a new subscription service listed with a spring 2026 timeframe. This lines up with earlier reports that Apple is developing an AI-powered health coaching service. The code also references a health feature codenamed "Gumdrop," along with a longer-term project labeled "Geronimo" that carries a 2030 date. Looking further ahead, feature flags marked for 2027 include "sleepOnMac" and "sleepOnIpad," along with "sleepCloudKitManatee" and "sleepCloudKitSync," suggesting expanded health tracking across larger devices.

The software also sheds more light on the Siri overhaul expected next spring. Multiple references to "IntelligenceFlow," "PlanOverrides," "SpotlightPersonalAnswersSiri," "SpotlightSearchToolLLMQueryUnderstanding," and "SpotlightExtSemanticSearch" suggest that large language models will play a central role in Siri's planning abilities and system-wide search.

Below is a breakdown of the notable feature flags found in the leaked build.

Accessories
AirTag 2: References to "AirTag2025" suggest the tracker was originally planned for release this year before being pushed back. The code points to features like "AirTag2025_Phone_Finding" and "AirTag2025_Watch_Finding," along with improvements to Bluetooth performance, battery state reporting, and crowdsourced location data.
AirPods: New features targeted for spring 2026 include Visual Lookup, Contextual Reminders, "ConversationBreakthroughVQA," and "Precise outdoor location understanding." Other references point to "Room Aware Connect Controls," "Extended_Precision_Finding_Core_Tech" (Fall 2025), and "SRAudioMixing" to mix audio with active streaming devices.
Vision Pro: A flag labeled "Enable AUSM Enhanced Room Spatializer" is listed for spring 2026. The code also references new sticker creation features for visionOS, including sticker effects and emoji creation.
Home Accessory: Code tied to a device identified as J229 references a sensor manager and sensing prediction models, hinting at a standalone base or possible camera accessory.

iOS & System Features
AutoFillUI: Planned for fall 2026, this would allow third-party apps to access secure credit card autofill directly, reducing the need for manual entry or exclusive reliance on Apple Pay.
Photos & Mail: The Photos app is slated to get "Photos Connections" and "Shared Collections" in late 2026. For Mail, a "CatchUpHighlightsV2" string appears with a winter 2025 date.
Freeform & Journal: Freeform is set to gain folder support in spring 2026, while the Journal app is flagged to receive new follow-up prompts.
Apple TV: A "Dynamic Sports Tier Manager" reference suggests changes to how sports subscriptions are organized or bundled.
Wallet & Finance: Feature flags for "BankConnect" and "AppleCard" upcoming payment notifications are dated for WWDC 2026. A separate "FinHealth" section mentions spending summaries, habitual spend tracking, and reverse lookup capabilities.

Communication & Media
Podcasts: New flags reference enabling a "Home Siri assistant cell" for CarPlay and a Connected Subscriptions Account settings page. New translation features are also mentioned, including a button to translate a transcript and the ability to tap a translated paragraph to hear it spoken.
Calling: References were found for a "Push-to-Talk" option in CallKit and an "Experimental_CallScreening_LiveActivity" in ConversationKit.

Accessibility
Live Captions: A "LiveCaptionsForAll" flag suggests broader support, along with an expansion to more languages set for WWDC 2026.
Magnifier: New detection features include "Announce Stairs," "Find My Item," and "Human Hand Pose" recognition.
Audio & Control: References were found for "Background Sounds Version 2," a "Tilt to Scroll" feature, and new Live Listen controls on Apple Watch (including mic levels and a rewind function).
Mac: macOS is set to gain full Keyboard Access support for VoiceOver, along with an expanded font size range.

While the leaked build provides a rare look at Apple's internal planning, features discovered in early software are often delayed, reworked, or canceled before reaching the public. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for more Apple leaks!
