Using shsh files in redsn0w or tinyumbrella with different phones.

Both myself and my wife have Iphone 4's. Both AT&T Mine is version 6.0 (10A403). Mine is tethered jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.13dev4 and ipsw 3,1_6.0_10A403. My wife's is not jailbroken but has 5.1.1 (9B206). I didn't think I had the shsh files and still am not sure but last night I finally got tinyumbrella to work on my computer. Hooked up my jailbroken phone and hit the save shsh and it showed 5 saved shsh's for 4.1 4.2.1 4.2b3 4.3 and 5.0.1. I have two questions.... Are those shsh files good? I don't remember backing those up I do remember jailbreaking my phone in the past but I did the update to 6.0 anyway. The log on tinyumbrella said it couldn't pull anything from cydia. The second question (which is in multiple parts)... Can I jailbreak my wife's phone and grab her shsh's and use them to downgrade my own? I thought I saw something listed but didn't see a howto for doing that yet. Do I use tinyumbrella or do i use redsn0w? What do I do?

The short answer is 'No' SHSH blobs are unique to the phone and not the model of the phone. The only SHSH blobs that would work are ones that were generated for your device.

If Cydia/Tiny Umbrella has not hashed any SHSH blobs for the firmware you want to restore/jailbreak then it won't work.
