Check your HDMI cable! It causes interference if it is a poorly shielded cable

I’ve had a similar issue lately — my Apple TV started lagging a lot when navigating menus, even with the iPhone remote app. What helped me was restarting both the Apple TV and my router, then turning off Bluetooth devices nearby (they sometimes interfere).

If your Apple TV is slow or unresponsive, restart both the device and your router, then clear cache-heavy apps or reinstall problematic ones. Also, check for tvOS updates and disable Bluetooth accessories or AirPlay connections that may be overloading the system.

I was so annoyed that I turned off my Apple TV and played friday-nightfunkin.io Friday Night Funkin’ to calm my nerves. I don’t know why, but every time I pressed the keys to the rhythm in FNF, I felt more comfortable, like I was regaining the smooth control feeling that my Apple TV was lacking. After playing for a while, I felt better, then I went back to try resetting my Apple TV. Thanks to that, I was able to both relieve my discomfort and have more energy to deal with the problem, just like FNF always saves me when I’m stressed.
