Das iPhone Dev-Team hat Hinweise über das neue RedSn0w-Projekt veröffentlicht...

- Okay, es ist kein britisches thermonukleares Gerät.
- Es ist keine Episode der “Twilight Zone”
- Und es hat zweifellos nichts mit dem iPhone 3G zu tun
- Es gibt da ein anderes Gerät…
- Was kann es bloß sein?

Es liegt nahe das redsn0w für den iPod touch bestimmt ist. Vielleicht ein Jailbreak für den iPod touch der 2. Generation.

Das Bild auf http://www.redsn0w.com wurde aktualisiert und beinhaltet jetzt eine Art Schlüssel oben links, ähnlich einem MD5-Schlüssel. Ebenso wurde das Bild eines tic tac toe-spielenden Kindes verschoben und durch die Teilansicht eines Chips ersetzt.

Finally........I hope they finish it soon, been wiaitng for a while plus my iphone screen just cracked and stop working so I'm stuck with the 2g for now. Dev team u guys are the greatest.

MuscleNerd made a reply to a comment on the dev-teams blog confirming that it is iPod Touch related and that they were 'diverted by another exploit which they were not expecting' Also he says that the code that the top is.... ' an "escrow" hash of decrypted iBoot for ipt2g (length=0x29000). Not otherwise obtainable except via an exploit (afaict). This is most likely a jailbreak for iPod Touch 2G
