Apple Takes Vision Pro Users to the Swiss Alps in New 'Elevated' Immersive Video

Apple has released the third episode of its immersive travel series "Elevated," taking Vision Pro users on an aerial tour of the Swiss Alps. The new installment is now available in the Apple TV app and continues the series' focus on sweeping views of remarkable landscapes.



Narrated by Swiss actor Carla Juri, the episode invites viewers on an exhilarating flight where snow-powdered peaks scrape the sky. The footage passes over mountaintop castle ruins, railways spanning deep chasms, and the Matterhorn. It is presented in Apple Immersive Video, Apple's 180-degree 3D 8K format with Spatial Audio designed to enhance depth and scale.


The release marks the third entry in the "Elevated" series. It follows a previous episode set in Maine, narrated by Tim Robbins, which highlighted the state's rugged coastline and fall foliage. The series is part of Apple's ongoing expansion of immersive content created specifically for Vision Pro.

Apple has steadily added programming in the format across multiple categories. Recently, the company debuted the canine competition docuseries Top Dogs and began streaming live NBA games in immersive video. To produce this content, crews use specialized systems such as the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive camera, built to handle high-resolution 3D spatial capture.
