Apple Drops New 'Elevated' Immersive Video for Vision Pro

Apple has released a new episode of its immersive travel series Elevated, now available to watch on the Apple TV app for Vision Pro. The new film takes viewers on an aerial journey over Maine during the fall, guided by Academy Award-winning actor Tim Robbins.
The episode, which was released on October 3, sweeps over the state's rugged coastlines, pristine lakes, and forests filled with autumn's fiery palette of orange, crimson, and gold. It is the second installment in the series, which whisks viewers over iconic vistas from staggering heights.
The new film was part of a recent slate of immersive films Apple announced for Vision Pro, which also includes upcoming content from partners like the BBC, Red Bull, and CNN. The push for more high-quality immersive video comes just weeks after the launch of visionOS 26, which added native playback support for a wider range of video formats.
