Apple has previewed a new slate of immersive films for Apple Vision Pro, with upcoming titles from partners including the BBC, Red Bull, CNN, and CANAL+. The new films, captured with Blackmagic Design's new professional immersive camera, are set to launch on the Apple TV app in the coming months.
Tour De Force The first film, from CANAL+ and MotoGP, is available now and follows rider Johann Zarco's victory at the French Grand Prix. It was filmed using URSA Cine Immersive cameras paired with ambisonic microphones to capture Apple Spatial Audio. An extended preview will be available at select Apple Store locations in October.
World of Red Bull This new series will transport viewers into backcountry skiing and big-wave surfing, with the first episode, "Backcountry Skiing," arriving in December. The follow-up, "Big-Wave Surfing," will be released in 2026.
A Night at the BBC Proms Coming this fall, the BBC will release the first classical music concert in the immersive format. The film features pianist Lukas Sternath and the BBC Symphony Orchestra performing at the Royal Albert Hall.
Journey to Antarctica to Find Emperor Penguins CNN's upcoming documentary joins a scientific expedition to the continent, bringing viewers into close proximity with emperor penguins and exploring the impacts of climate change on their populations.
Julaymba Launching this October, this award-winning film steps into Australia's Daintree Rainforest with the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people, offering an intimate encounter with their culture and the world's oldest rainforest.
Experience Paris A new film from The Explorers celebrates French heritage, taking viewers inside a three-Michelin-star kitchen, to the top of the city's most iconic tower, and through the historic streets of Montmartre.
CORTIS (Color Outside The Lines) HYBE, the label behind K-pop group BTS, will release an inside look at its newest boy band, CORTIS. The film will offer unseen access to the group's choreography and practice sessions.
New Apple Immersive Episodes Apple is also adding new episodes to its own series. A new episode of Wild Life follows young orangutans in Borneo, while Elevated returns on October 3 with a new installment that soars over Maine, guided by Tim Robbins.
The new films are among the first to be created with Blackmagic Design's URSA Cine Immersive camera and edited on Mac using DaVinci Resolve Studio. The push for more high-quality immersive content follows Apple's recent release of visionOS 26, which added native playback support for a wider range of video formats. In China, select Apple Immersive titles will be available through the Migu Video and Tencent Video apps.
