Apple TV will stream all 62 matches of the 2026 Leagues Cup beginning Tuesday, August 4, as 18 Major League Soccer clubs and 18 Liga MX clubs compete in the fourth edition of the annual tournament.
Subscribers in more than 100 countries and regions will be able to watch every match in one place. The competition is sanctioned by Concacaf and will guarantee interleague matchups through the quarterfinals.
Tournament Format and Teams
For the first time, Leagues Cup will stage four Phase One matches in Mexico. The champion, runner-up, and third-place finisher will each qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, while the tournament winner will advance directly to that competition's Round of 16.
Defending champion Seattle Sounders begin their title defense against reigning Concacaf Champions Cup winner Toluca FC on August 5 at 7 p.m. Pacific Time at Estadio Nemesio Díez. Seattle won its first Leagues Cup title with a 3-0 victory over Inter Miami CF in the 2025 final.
Several prominent players are set to make their Leagues Cup debuts this year, including Antoine Griezmann with Orlando City SC, Robert Lewandowski with Chicago Fire, and Casemiro with Inter Miami CF. The complete tournament schedule is available at leaguescup.com.
Watching on Apple TV
Apple TV will offer commentary in English, Spanish, and French where available. The service will also carry on-demand tournament coverage and companion shows, including Leagues Cup Countdown and Leagues Cup Wrap-Up in English, along with Leagues Cup La Previa and Leagues Cup El Resumen in Spanish.
Former Mexico national team captain Pável Pardo and former Mexico striker Francisco "Kikín" Fonseca will return as analysts for the tournament.
Fans can also follow the tournament through the free Apple Sports app on iPhone, which provides live scores, real-time statistics, standings, schedules, play-by-play updates, team statistics, and lineup formations. The app can open live matches directly in the Apple TV app.
