Spectrum and Apple have released the broadcast schedule for Spectrum Front Row in Apple Immersive, confirming that live Los Angeles Lakers games will begin streaming on Apple Vision Pro this Friday, January 9. The series kicks off with the Milwaukee Bucks facing the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena at 7:30 p.m. PT.
The production is designed specifically for the headset, using a high-bitrate feed of up to 150 Mbps to deliver a heightened sense of presence. Viewers can watch from seven unique angles, including the scorer's table, the area beneath each basket, the player tunnel, a high-and-wide view of the arena, the broadcast booth, and a roaming courtside perspective. The broadcast features 3D in-game graphics for stats and shot clocks that appear to float in space, while ambisonic microphones capture Spatial Audio to reproduce directional sounds such as the swish of the net and crowd reactions. Commentary will be provided by play-by-play announcer Mark Rogondino, alongside analyst and former Lakers forward Danny Green.
Live viewing in the United States is limited to the Lakers' regional broadcast territory, which includes Southern California, Hawaii, and parts of southern Nevada. Fans in these areas can watch through the new Spectrum SportsNet app or the NBA app. Access is available to Spectrum Internet customers, video subscribers of any provider with a package that includes Spectrum SportsNet, or users with a free NBA ID. Internationally, live games will be available to Apple Vision Pro users in Japan, Singapore, and South Korea through the NBA app.
For viewers outside the live broadcast regions, full-game replays and highlights will be available nationwide in the U.S. and in select international markets, including the UK, Australia, France, Germany, and the UAE. Apple has confirmed that the immersive experience will not be available in Canada, China mainland, Hong Kong, or Taiwan. Replays are typically available through the NBA app 24 hours after a game concludes, with the first replay accessible starting Sunday, January 11.
The announced schedule also includes upcoming matchups against the Philadelphia 76ers on February 5, the Los Angeles Clippers on February 20, the Denver Nuggets on March 5, the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 10, and the Washington Wizards on March 30.
To watch, users need a headset running visionOS 26 or later. The experience is compatible with both the original model and the updated Vision Pro with M5 chip released late last year. This launch follows Apple's initial announcement of the partnership in October.
