Apple Debuts First Trailer for 'Brothers' Starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson [Video]

Apple TV has released the first trailer for Brothers, an eight-episode comedy starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as fictionalized versions of themselves. The series premieres Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with its first two episodes, followed by weekly episodes through November 4.



The series begins after Woody's daughter calls off her engagement, prompting him to bring his family to Matthew's ranch in Austin. The stay takes a turn when Matthew's mother, Ma Mac, lets slip a decades-old secret: the longtime friends may actually be brothers.


As Woody searches for answers, Matthew is dealing with his own potential run for governor of Texas. Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe, and Holland Taylor also star.

Brothers is showrun by Lee Eisenberg and produced for Apple TV by Paramount Television Studios. Eisenberg, McConaughey, Harrelson, Natalie Sandy, David West Read, Trish Hofmann, Bill Bost, Jason Winer, David Finkel, Brett Baer, and Jeremy Plager serve as executive producers. Trent O'Donnell directs multiple episodes, including the pilot.
