Apple Releases iOS 27 Beta 4 and iPadOS 27 Beta 4 to Developers [Download]

Apple has seeded the fourth betas of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 to developers for testing. The build numbers are both 24A5390f.



The new builds arrive a few weeks after Apple provided developers with the third round of betas. That previous update activated several dormant features, including functional Siri voice customization sliders for pace and expressivity, along with quicker access to AirPods Adaptive audio controls directly from the main Settings menu.


iOS 27 introduces a significant overhaul to the iPhone experience, built heavily around Apple's new Siri AI. The digital assistant utilizes a more conversational interface capable of drawing on personal context and maintaining onscreen awareness to interact with active content. Apple is also testing a dedicated Siri mode inside the Camera app for Visual Intelligence, alongside expanded AI generative tools in Photos, Safari, and Shortcuts.

Beyond artificial intelligence, the operating system includes structural and visual refinements. Users can manually adjust the transparency of the Liquid Glass interface to improve readability, while an updated CPU scheduler helps apps launch faster and improves overall battery efficiency.

Registered developers can install the latest firmware over the air. To get the update, open the Settings app, navigate to General, select Software Update, and ensure the developer beta option is turned on.
