Jimmy Kimmel recorded his entire late night show using the webcam on his MacBook after a power outage shut down the control room, according to ABC.com.

----
An hour before showtime last night, a power outage shut down the Jimmy Kimmel Live control room, broadcast transmission center, and tape operations area. With guests and a studio audience waiting, Jimmy recorded the whole show on his laptop using his computer's webcam.

Kimmel welcomed guests Seth Rogen (The Green Hornet), John Henson (Wipeout), and country star Dierks Bentley - who improvised with an acoustic performance from his new album "Up On The Ridge." During Rogen's interview, Jimmy ran the much anticipated exclusive world premiere of the trailer from THE GREEN HORNET.

This unintentionally special episode of JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE will be broadcast Tuesday night at 12:05|11:05c.

Apple should send him a new iPhone 4 :)
